Eagles safety Patrick Chung will miss his fourth game of the season with a shoulder injury and is among the inactives against the New York Giants.  As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare to square off with the New York Giants for the second time in three weeks, there are few surprises among their inactives.  After testing his hamstring in a 100-yard dash at the Novacare Complex Friday afternoon, quarterback Michael Vick is officially active. He was seen throwing in warmups earlier this morning to Jason Avant under the watchful eyes of general manager Howie Roseman and various assistant coaches. It appears the 33-year old passed every possible test.  No surprise that backup quarterback Nick Foles will not suit up as he is inactive with a concussion.  On the defensive side of the ball, rookie Earl Wolff will get another start at safety as Patrick Chung is inactive with a shoulder injury. Chung, 26, has only played in four games so far this season due to his nagging shoulder issues.  Among the remaining Eagles inactives is Jake Knott who will likely be replaced on special teams by newly re-signed linebacker Emmanuel Acho. Acho was signed earlier this week after spending the first spending the first portion of the season on the Giants practice squad.  Cedric Thornton who has drawn praise from both head coach Chip Kelly and teammates for his prowess as a pass rusher in the first seven games of the season is active after being officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report Friday.  For the Giants, running back Brandon Jacobs is officially out which means that Peyton Hillis and Eli Manning will share a backfield for the same time today.  The other Eagles inactives are Dennis Kelly, Matt Tobin, and Damion Square.  Matt Lombardo is the Editor-In-Chief of Eagledelphia and also an on-air personality on 97.5 FM The Fanatic in Philadelphia.
