Found October 29, 2011 on The Rap Sheet:
A day after the bombshell of releasing CB Leigh Bodden, the Patriots have dropped another one. And that this point, it is quite confusing. The Patriots just placed rookie CB Ras-I Dowling on Injured Reserve with a hip injury, leaving the team with two fewer defensive backs than they had two days ago. In addition, they activated DE Brandon Deaderick and RB Kevin Faulk off the Physically Unable to Perform list. Both players figure to participate in the game against the Steelers tomorrow. tomorrow. Faulk will help with pass-protection and catching passes in the screen game. They’ve been lacking in both spots. And Deaderick provides depth at end and tackle. As for cutting Bodden the day before placing Dowling on Injured Reserve… I’m wondering the same things you are.

Video of the day: Patriots RB Kevin Faulk returns to the field for the first time in more than a year

More than a year after tearing his ACL against the Jets last season, putting his career in jeopardy, Kevin Faulk played last night. The Patriots RB came off the Physically Unable to Perform list, started, and had 11 touches for for 52 yards in the 25-17 loss to Steelers. Still, the good feeling associated with coming back was dampened by the result of the game. Check out my video:

Patriots’ Defense Torched Again, Steelers Roll 25-17

Kevin Faulk was one of the few bright spots for the Pats vs. the Steelers. Photo by Gene J. PuskarI had been curious over the last few weeks as to whether the Patriots’ pass defense was truly improving or they were merely the benefactors of teams that were featuring their running game. The Steelers answered my pondering today by torching the Patriots’ defense through the air...

Quick hit reactions to the Patriots loss to the Steelers Our...

Quick hit reactions to the Patriots loss to the Steelers Our pass defense is who they say it is and they will be ripped to shreds this week by anyone who talks about them. Deservedly so. They have to play a lot better, and no one is sure if they really even have the horses to play better. They still like Kevin Faulk A LOT more than Danny Woodhead. I’m sure they wanted to use Green...
