Found November 16, 2012 on NESN.com:
The Patriots secondary has not been very good this season, to put it succinctly. This Sunday, against Andrew Luck and the Colts, the Pats are going to need to do better than they have in past weeks if they want to get past Indianapolis. Cold Hard Football Facts’ Kerry Byrne joined John Dennis and Gerry Callahan on WEEI’s The Dennis and Callahan Show on Friday morning to discuss New England’s defense, and in his eyes, the Patriots defense has actually outperformed the numbers so far this season. To see what Byrne had to say about why that might be, check out the above video.

Through nine games, Luck has looked incredibly poised...

Does L-U-C-K Spell R-O-Y

As Andrew Luck leads the Indianapolis Colts closer to a playoff berth this season, he also continues a march toward Rookie of the Year. As of this writing, the Colts were 6-3 and in 2nd place in the AFC South, and had won four in a row. Luck was leading the way with a [...]

Can Andrew Luck carry the day for the Colts vs the Patriots? Stranger things have happened to a New England defense that has had issues stopping the pass.

Andrew Luck gets first taste of Indianapolis Colts-New England Patriots rivalry

The Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots have shared what arguably has been the best rivalry in American professional sports for much of the previous decade. Who can forget New England’s triumphs against Peyton Manning in the snow in Foxborough, Mass. during both the 2003 and 2004 playoffs? Or the epic Colts comeback in the 2006 AFC Championship game en route to Super...

Belichick on Andrew Luck: He’s playing like a very experienced and poised player

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had his usual mid week conference call today, as well as his mid-week presser. One of the topics that came up was the play of Indianapolis Colts rookie QB Andrew Luck. Predictably, The Hoodie praised Luck's play thus far in the 2012 season."It looks like he’s getting better every week, playing with more and more confidence...

Terrance Knighton fined for hit on Andrew Luck

NEW YORK (AP) -- Jacksonville defensive tackle Terrance Knighton has been fined 25,000 by the NFL for making helmet-to-helmet contact with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, who was defenseless at the time. The hit came in Indianapolis' victory Nov. 8 at Jacksonville and negated an interception by Aaron Ross. Jaguars safety Dawan Landry was fined 10,000 for a fourth-quarter hit...

Gameday Deciding Factors: Colts at Patriots

Despite the obvious potential of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck before the season, not many people expected his team to own the same record (6-3) as the Patriots when it traveled to Foxborough Week 11. But that's where we're at. While the Colts are chasing the Houston Texans in the division and will likely have to earn a Wildcard, the Patriots have all but locked...

Reggie Wayne’s Presence Essential to Andrew Luck’s Rapid Development, Colts’ Unexpected Success This Season

Every great quarterback needs a great receiver to rely on during their early development. Joe Montana and Steve Young had Jerry Rice, Troy Aikman had Michael Irving and Peyton Manning had Marvin Harrison. And those are just a few of the most extreme cases throughout NFL history. Now, the onus of that argument turns to Indianapolis, where the development of Andrew Luck takes center...

Indianapolis Colts week 11 preview: New England

The Indianapolis Colts meet the New England Patriots today in a match-up that is far more relevant than anyone thought when the season began. Both teams stand at 6-3. That’s a good thing for the Colts, a team that many thought would struggle to win one or to games. It may not be that great of a thing for the Patriots, who struggled early on in the season, but have recently ratcheted...

Grigson gives Colts winning hand in 1st year as GM

Ryan Grigson came to Indianapolis with a plan to rebuild the Colts. A little more than eight months after cutting Peyton Manning, Indy (6-3) is in an improbable battle to make the playoffs. One of the reasons has been Grigson's penchant for finding talent. The first-year general manager has made all the right moves: drafting Andrew Luck, surrounding him with young teammates...

Battle of the (6-3) Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots

I’ve been licking my chops about this one all week, since the Colts dismantled the Jaguars 9 days ago on prime time. They will be in tough as they face the AFC powerhouse Patriots. In a rivalry that used to feature the two best quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, we now have a battle between rookie quarterback sensation Andrew Luck facing off against Brady. In the Bill Belichick...

Pick of the week: Colts (+9) at Patriots

Game of the week. If you looked at this game when the schedule was released months ago, it would have possibly caught your eye, but with the Colts coming off of a two win season, it was going to get lost in the morning shuffle. But the trusty flex schedule came to the rescue and thrust it into the late afternoon slate of games for all of our viewing pleasure. It pits the face...
