There are a lot of things in the world that are closer than this game was. The distance between New York and L.A. is a good place to start. With a chance to move within a game of the AFC-leading Texans, the Patriots hosted them in their biggest game of the year Monday night at Gillette Stadium and this one surely did not disappoint. Each team came into the game with six-game win streaks as well as a number of other streaks on the line in what may have been the matchup of the year to date.
