With the first pick in the 2000 NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns select Tom Brady, Quarterback, Michigan. Hindsight being 20/20 that is what should of happened. However Brady was not considered a hall fame worthy quarterback and the Browns had selected Tim Couch the season before. How things can change when looked at with the help of history books. NFL Network did a fine job with its Brady 6 program showing how Brady had dropped to the 6th round. The Patriots have done a fine job taking a skinny kid who was 20-5 as a starter in college and making him into arguably a top 5 quarterback of all time. With the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft the New England Patriots select Tom Brady, Quarterback, Michigan. That is how it turned out. I remember watching the draft wondering why the Pats needed to select a QB. They had just signed Drew Bledsoe to a 10 year pack. They had backup and fan favorite Michael Bishop, and journeyman John Friesz on the roster. Here was a 6th round QB...

A.B. The best part about this new Under Armour & Funny or Die commercial featuring Tom Brady is the 7 new nicknames. And not necessarily because they are funny but more because the video itself is pretty stale.
I can’t wait to see the “Shady Brady” and other Tom Brady customized jerseys at Foxboro this year.

IT'S IN THE PAST
Tom Brady spoke publicly for the first time since his former teammate Aaron Hernandez was charged with murder. See what he said.
Tom Brady's Best Friend from Tom Brady
Tom Brady, comedian?
It seems so. After coming out with a couple of funny videos last offseason, it seems like Brady is at it again. It was of course rumored that this would happen.
Well here you go. The sequel to last year's "wicked accent". Which do you like better?

Tom Brady recently stated that he wants to play a longtime (as long as he remains injury free of course). He might even put old man Favre to shame if the injury big stays away long enough. As nice as it must be to New England fans to think you have your leader for another four or five years, I can't help but wonder why.
Why keep going? What does he have to prove?
Tom Brady as a friend would impress any girl's parents. The problem? The QB is not even close to being this dude's friend in new Funny or Die video.
Tom Brady was spoiled to start his NFL career, winning three Super Bowls in his first four seasons as a starter. Now, he realizes just how difficult of a feat that is. “We’ve had our chances,” Brady told SI’s Peter King in his debut column for The MMQB. “Twice. More than twice, actually. I still have plenty of chances to do it. What I’ve learned is it’s really, really...

When Tom Brady looks at the 2013 New England Patriots roster, he can’t
help but shake his head at how many of his favorite targets are gone. Wes
Welker is in Denver, Aaron Hernandez is in jail and Rob Gronkowski is hurt for
what could be half the regular season. That means that one of the greatest
quarterbacks in NFL history will have to find someone else to throw over 70%...
On Tuesday, New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady was asked by Peter King of Sports Illustrated (article appeared on King’s new website The MMQB) how the team will proceed without former tight end Aaron Hernandez who in currently on trial for murder. Brady, unsurprisingly, gave the most Bill Belichick answer ever.

Tom Brady finally broke his silence about former teammate Aaron Hernandez on Tuesday.
In an exclusive interview with SI’s Peter King on the new MMQB site, Brady finally addressed the Hernandez situation. He didn’t actually mention Hernandez by name when asked, but he did talk about moving on as both a player and a team and even mentioned that he has already “moved on” and...
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made his first public comments about the Aaron Hernandez situation this week. As you might expect, the two-time Super Bowl MVP was very vague. During an interview with Peter King of Sports Illustrated, Brady stopped short of directly addressing the Hernandez murder charge when asked about it. He did, however, say [...]
PETER KING: What’s your reaction to Aaron Hernandez’s being arrested and cut from the team, and how will his absence affect your offense?
TOM BRADY: I’ve seen a lot of things over 13 years, and what I have learned is that mental toughness and putting aside personal agendas for what’s in the best interest of the team matters most. My job is to play quarterback, and I’m...
“What I like about this franchise is we’ve got a shot every year. I love the fact we were in the AFC title game last year, the Super Bowl the year before that and 14-2 the year before that. Can we win this year? It’ll be determined by our level of commitment, the mental toughness. We’ll find out before the season. How committed are we?” - Tom Brady via Peter King’s MMQB
Training camp for the New England Patriots starts under the cloud of Aaron Hernandez's arrest on a murder charge.
His absence and the departure of their two leading receivers are the biggest on-field challenges facing coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.
The Patriots lost the AFC championship game to the Baltimore Ravens last season, 28-13. Then they lost five of...
