The World Champion New York Football Giants are selling championship gear all throughout NJ and NY and online. You can buy several different styles of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats to show championship pride. The clothing was avaiable seconds after Tom Brady’s Hail Mary pass hit the turf at Lucas Oil field. But what about all those pre-printed Patriot -shirts?
World Vision, a humanitarian organization, is making sure that all the loser gear is heading overseas to help clothe families in impoverished countries. A nice gesture caused by the NFL refusing to allow the merchandise to be sold in the United States. Regardless, it is new clothing, and the kids in places such as El Salvador, Ghana, and the Sudan, really don’t care. It is new clothing, something that they never get the chance to see.
So cheer up New England, think of yourselves as great humanitarians.
