As we all know by now, the Baltimore Ravens beat the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game a few days ago. That’s old news. And although the Ravens have one more game to play this season, they seem to be focused on the team they just beat. But that’s for good reason. The Patriots and Ravens seem to have a hatred for each other. This could stem from last year’s AFC Championship game, or maybe from a few hits that might not have been completely legal this past weekend. Either way, the Ravens have been the targets for New England’s collective lack of class. I know, I know. Boston fans are the worst. That’s old news, too. But these fans have earned that reputation. It’s much more than their blatant bandwagon jumping and the astounding number of “pink hats.” It moves beyond the “Hey, FACK YOU, look over heeeyah at me” culture of Boston fandom. That reputation is based in factual evidence such as the overly-aggressive and abrasive assholery of the fanbase. And of course, this happened on twitter.
