The New England Patriots released their first injury report of the week today and fans will be pleased to see less players in the “Did Not Participate” category than previous weeks. Last week was especially bad early on. Julian Edleman, Danny Woodhead, and Sebastian Vollmer all missed practice last week and sat out of Sunday’s game against the Jets, and all were back at practice today. While they were listed as having limited participation in practice, the fact that they are practicing this early in the week is a good sign that they could be available for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.While the overall injury report is much brighter, there was a disturbing listing on the report. Mike Wright did not participate in practice after being cleared to practice late last week. Wright has missed most of the season with a concussion or concussion-like symptoms, the same injury that kept him out of most of the second half of last season.
