The New England Patriots received some good news on the injury front yesterday, as tight ends Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski returned to practice. While the Patriots’ two dynamic tight ends were back, wide receiver Julian Edelman remained out due to a hand injury.

Hernandez had been out for seven consecutive practices, including the team’s last two games, due to an ankle injury. He was limping after running his first few routes, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, but “looked fine” following a few more drills.
Gronkowski missed practice Wednesday but was able to return in a limited capacity yesterday. He was dealing with a hip injury.
Edelman continues to be questionable for Week 5’s matchup against the Denver Broncos. His hand injury forced him to miss New England’s contest with the Buffalo Bills this past Sunday.
