NFL Injury Report:
While New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez isn’t
expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts today, others, including wide
receivers Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd and tight end Rob Gronkowski are listed
as questionable on the team’s injury report.
Hernandez, Welker, Lloyd and Gronkowski are among a whopping
15 Patriots’ players listed as questionable to play against the Colts. This mark was actually at 16 before the team released wide receiver Deion Branch
All players listed as questionable practiced on a limited
basis on Friday, but it’s been reported that Hernandez’s ankle injury is
expected to keep him out of yet another game. The tight end missed several contests
earlier in the season and after returning was held out of the Patriots’ last
game against the St. Louis Rams in London.
Wide receiver Julian Edelman (hand), defensive lineman Kyle
Love (knee), linebacker Jerod Mayo (elbow) and defensive back Tavon Wilson (ankle)
are all probable to play, while offensive lineman Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) is
