While New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez isn’t expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts today, others, including wide receivers Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd and tight end Rob Gronkowski are listed as questionable on the team’s injury report. Hernandez, Welker, Lloyd and Gronkowski are among a whopping 15 Patriots’ players listed as questionable to play against the Colts. This mark was actually at 16 before the team released wide receiver Deion Branch yesterday. All players listed as questionable practiced on a limited basis on Friday, but it’s been reported that Hernandez’s ankle injury is expected to keep him out of yet another game. The tight end missed several contests earlier in the season and after returning was held out of the Patriots’ last game against the St. Louis Rams in London. Wide receiver Julian Edelman (hand), defensive lineman Kyle Love (knee), linebacker Jerod Mayo (elbow) and defensive back Tavon Wilson (ankle) are all probable to play, while offensive lineman Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) is doubtful.
