New England Patriots running back Danny Woodhead and
defensive lineman Chandler Jones were limited at practice yesterday, as the
team prepared for this weekend’s AFC Championship game against the Baltimore
Ravens, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.
Both Woodhead and Jones were forced out of last weekend’s
victory over the Houston Texans and were unable to practice at full capacity
yesterday. Woodhead is dealing with a thumb injury, while Jones is hampered by
a bad ankle.
Jones exited the Texans’ game in the second quarter due to
his ankle injury, and he was unable to return for the Patriots. Woodhead also
exited the contest and didn’t make it back for New England.
Considering both players were able to participate in some
form Wednesday, it would appear that they are lining up to be available Sunday
against the Ravens.
