New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was
limited at practice yesterday after sustaining a concussion on Thanksgiving against
the New York Jets, while tight end Aaron Hernandez and wide receivers Wes
Welker and Brandon Lloyd continue to be limited due to lingering injuries.
Edelman and fellow wide receiver Matthew Slater were limited
at Wednesday’s practice due to concussions. Edelman exited last Thursday’s
contest against the Jets with what was listed as a head injury. He’s
questionable to play this weekend.
Hernandez (ankle), Welker (ankle) and Lloyd (knee) were
among the 12 Patriots’ players limited at practice Wednesday, also including
safety Patrick Chung (shoulder/hamstring), linebackers Dont’a Hightower
(hamstring) and Brandon Spikes (knee) and defensive lineman Kyle Love (knee).
Six Patriots did not practice Wednesday, including offensive
linemen Dan Connolly (back), Logan Mankins (ankle/calf), Sebastian Vollmer
(back/knee) and Markus Zusevics (illness), defensive lineman Chandler Jones
(ankle) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm/hip).

TB12 Stands Tall In SI’s Football’s Greatest, But Maybe TOO Tall
Patriots QB Tom Brady is enjoying a NFL MVP worthy season in 2012 thus far. In 11 games, he has a QB rating of 105.2 with 3,299 yards, 24 touchdowns and only THREE measly interceptions. If he continues at this pace, he is a shoe in for the league’s Most Valuable Player.
But we all know that TB12 is TEAM first...

Danny Amendola, Davone Bess Could Be Solid Options to Explore If Patriots Part Ways With Wes Welker (Video)
Wes Welker has had a successful run in a Patriots uniform, but it’s no guarantee that he’ll be back in New England next season.
In fact, The Boston Globe’s Greg Bedard thinks this will be Welker’s final campaign in a Pats uniform. The team placed the franchise tag on the wide receiver prior to the season, and the two sides might not be able to work out a new deal after this...
Patrick Chung Happy to See Steve Gregory, Devin McCourty Succeed, Ready to Contribute for Patriots Even If in Reduced Role
FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots secondary has looked much improved over the past few weeks. And while the play of Aqib Talib and Devin McCourty is receiving plenty of attention, Patrick Chung’s star isn’t shining quite as bright as it once did.
Chung, who missed four games with a shoulder injury earlier in the season, returned to the field against the Jets on Thursday night...
1. Let's say Talib turns out to be the difference maker on defense, and they obviously like Dennard on the outside. Does McCourty become trade bait in the offseason?2. Who are some potential free agents/releases that you'd like to see the Patriots take a

David Whitley Cites ‘Two Adopted African-American Daughters’ as Proof He’s Not Racist
Bill Belichick and the Patriots created Spygate. The New Orleans Saints created Bountygate. This week, The Sporting News’ David Whitley created Tattoogate.
As foolish as his column was on Colin Kaepernick‘s ink, Whitley certainly succeeded in gaining the attention he desired when he published his views of the 49ers quarterback breaking the mold of the clean-cut QB.
“[The...
Dolphins tasked with slowing down Tom Brady
DAVIE, Fla. Its probably not a good idea to compare your rookie quarterback to Tom Brady the week your team plays New England.
Perhaps thats why Miami center Mike Pouncey played it coy on Wednesday when asked to expound upon having last month compared Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Patriots star.
I said that? Pouncey said before laughing. You sure? That a rookie reminded...
