New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was
limited at practice yesterday after sustaining a concussion on Thanksgiving against
the New York Jets, while tight end Aaron Hernandez and wide receivers Wes
Welker and Brandon Lloyd continue to be limited due to lingering injuries.

among the 12 Patriots’ players limited at practice Wednesday, also including
safety Patrick Chung (shoulder/hamstring), linebackers Dont’a Hightower

Six Patriots did not practice Wednesday, including offensive
linemen Dan Connolly (back), Logan Mankins (ankle/calf), Sebastian Vollmer
(back/knee) and Markus Zusevics (illness), defensive lineman Chandler Jones
(ankle) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm/hip).

TB12 Stands Tall In SI’s Football’s Greatest, But Maybe TOO Tall
Patriots QB Tom Brady is enjoying a NFL MVP worthy season in 2012 thus far. In 11 games, he has a QB rating of 105.2 with 3,299 yards, 24 touchdowns and only THREE measly interceptions. If he continues at this pace, he is a shoe in for the league’s Most Valuable Player.
But we all know that TB12 is TEAM first...
Patriots Friday Q & A! Ask me anything!
Remember that Logan Mankins guy? The pro bowl left guard? The guy that's been very limited due to injuries so far this year?Yeah, he's still not coming back this week. However, some other notable Patriots returned to the practice field.CSNNE:Both tackle Sebastian Vollmer and guard Dan Connolly were back on the grass practice field at Gillette Stadium during the media portion...
Wes Welker has had a successful run in a Patriots uniform, but it’s no guarantee that he’ll be back in New England next season.
In fact, The Boston Globe’s Greg Bedard thinks this will be Welker’s final campaign in a Pats uniform. The team placed the franchise tag on the wide receiver prior to the season, and the two sides might not be able to work out a new deal after this...

FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots secondary has looked much improved over the past few weeks. And while the play of Aqib Talib and Devin McCourty is receiving plenty of attention, Patrick Chung’s star isn’t shining quite as bright as it once did.
Chung, who missed four games with a shoulder injury earlier in the season, returned to the field against the Jets on Thursday night...
FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots have been a dominant road team for over a decade now. But while most teams tend to roll over when Tom Brady and the Patriots come to town, the annual trip to Miami continues to be daunting.
Over the course of the long-standing series, the Dolphins hold a staggering advantage when the Patriots take their talents to South Beach. The Patriots are just...
Logan Mankins will be out once again this Sunday for the Patriots.
This Sunday the Patriots have a chance to clinch the division they have seemingly dominated since Bill Belichick took over as head coach, the AFC East. With a with in Miami the Patriots will clinch the division and try to move closer to pushing for a first round bye. The Patriots must beat the Texans to even have...
Bill Belichick and the Patriots created Spygate. The New Orleans Saints created Bountygate. This week, The Sporting News’ David Whitley created Tattoogate.
As foolish as his column was on Colin Kaepernick‘s ink, Whitley certainly succeeded in gaining the attention he desired when he published his views of the 49ers quarterback breaking the mold of the clean-cut QB.
Hot News for QB Tom Brady
The New England Patriots routinely dominate the AFC East, and this season is proving to be no different.
After their latest division victory turned into a laugher, the Patriots look to clinch their ninth East title in 10 seasons by beating the Miami Dolphins for a fifth consecutive time Sunday.
New England (8-3) is 28-6 in divisional play over the past six seasons, winning eight...
DAVIE, Fla. Its probably not a good idea to compare your rookie quarterback to Tom Brady the week your team plays New England.
Perhaps thats why Miami center Mike Pouncey played it coy on Wednesday when asked to expound upon having last month compared Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Patriots star.
I said that? Pouncey said before laughing. You sure? That a rookie reminded...
