The Patriots tight end, Rob Gronkowski, was carted off the field in the third quarter of their loss to the Browns. Cleveland’s safety TJ Ward went low on Gronkowski after he made a 21 yard catch, buckling the tight end’s knee.
Mike Garafolo reported that it was indeed a torn ACL and Gronk will have an MRI on Monday to confirm.

The New England Patriots fear that star tight end Rob Gronkowski has a torn ACL in his right knee, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Gronkowski, who suffered the injury in Sunday's wild 27-26 win over the Cleveland Browns, will undergo an MRI on Monday, according to the source.
FoxSports earlier reported that the Patriots believed it was a torn ACL.
