Gronkowski has been out since Nov. 18 when he sustained a
broken forearm late in the game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was expected
to return for the playoffs, but it wasn’t clear if he’d see action during the end
of the regular season.
Beyond Gronkowski, a whopping 19 other Patriots’ players are
listed as questionable to suit up against the Dolphins. Welker and Hernandez
are listed on the report, but both are expected to play. Others included on the
list are linebacker Dont’a Hightower (hamstring, shoulder), offensive linemen
Nate Solder (abdomen), Logan Mankins (ankle, calf) and Sebastian Vollmer (back,
knee) and wide receiver Brandon Lloyd (knee).
