NFL Injury Report:
New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker injured his left
ankle during the team’s victory over the St. Louis Rams yesterday. He told
reporters, including Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, that he thought the ankle injury
was nothing to be overly concerned about.
“Yeah, I think so,” he
answered. “We’ll see. We’ll evaluate it in the morning. It’s hard to tell right
after it happens. We’ll evaluate it as the week goes on.”
Welker was injured during the fourth quarter of yesterday’s
game after being tackled. He came up limping and removed himself from the game.
The veteran wide out will be evaluated by the team this week and there will
certainly be more news to come.
Welker is the Patriots’ leading receiver as he’s now caught
60 passes for 736 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

The scoreboard read 45-7, a thorough drubbing of the St. Louis Rams in merry ole England that put the Patriots at 5-3 going into the bye.
One thing is clear, the Patriots can run the ball and have a stable of backs that can get it done. The newest wrinkle is Shane Vereen, a fluid runner with great cutback ability. Vereen started the game despite Stevan Ridley...

Yesterday was a day full of dancing for the Patriots. Rob Gronkowski got in a couple good ones, Brandon Spikes had a funny dance but Chandler Jones' dance was pretty awesome too.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is a total beauty. Gronkowski’s first touchdown celebration is obviously the best one, and by far the most creative. His imitation of the Queen’s guard is hilarious and you have to love the enthusiasm that he plays with.GIFs via: Deadspin
The Patriots offensive line took another hit today, as left guard Logan Mankins wont play for the second straight week due to calf and hip injuries. The Pats previous six inactives were announced Friday, so Mankins was the last one.
Donald Thomas has started twice for Mankins this season.
The other six inactive players are tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle), safety Patrick...
The New England Patriots and St Louis Rams went overseas for the 2012 NFL International Series Game at Wembley Stadium in London. The English hadn’t seen such a forceful offensive onslaught since the Patriots whipped the Tampa Buccaneers in their last London appearance, 35-7 in 2009.
When Tom Brady and company were done with the Rams there was no doubt in anyone’s mind...
Tom Brady led touchdown drives on the Patriots' first five possessions Sunday and New England ran over the St. Louis Rams 45-7 in the NFL's annual regular-season game in London.
The Rams looked ready to put up a fight when Sam Bradford hit Chris Givens with a 50-yard touchdown pass on the first drive of the game. But that was about all the offense St. Louis could muster...
Who will represent the AFC in Superbowl XLVIII?
Will a real AFC football team please stand up… I understand Halloween is around the corner and everyone is trying to changeup their identity, but after the first seven weeks of the NFL season, it feels like every team from the American Football Conference has been celebrating Halloween earlier than scheduled. From the 16 teams that...

Yes, it was just the Rams. But, how many times have we said almost just that about an opponent.Oh, it's just the Cardinals, it's just the Seahawks, it's just the Jets.Don't fool yourself, if we've learned anything this year it's that you shouldn't take winning for granted. The Patriots not only won, they rolled. They played their most complete game of the...
