The New England Patriots got several players back at practice yesterday, including wide receiver Danny Amendola, according to Field Yates of ESPN Boston. While Amendola was back in pads and running through drills with his teammates, Yates noted that tight end Rob Gronkowski is still limited to working one-on-one with coaches. Amendola was back at practice after spending a week on the sidelines with an unspecified issue. While he wasn’t expected to be at risk of missing the start of the regular season, that is now out of the question considering he’s back and practicing at full-go, according to Yates. The tight end continues practicing in t-shirts and short, as he was participating in agility drills and catching passes with New England’s assistant strength coach yesterday. While he could be a suitable replacement for Wes Welker, questions continue to surround his durability. Those same questions will continue to plague Gronkowski following an offseason of setbacks involving his forearm and back. New England is hoping the dynamic tight end will return shortly after the start of the season and put his injury woes behind him. Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?
