New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo suffered a knee injury in Sunday's 31-19 win at Oakland. Mayo is expected to be sidelined for "awhile," according to a report by Comcast SportsNet New England, which said the injury is not season-ending. Mayo has been a tackling machine since the Patriots drafted him No. 10 overall out of Tennessee in 2008. He has had three consecutive seasons with more than 100 tackles, including a career-high 174 last season.
