Yea,Yea,Yea!
Greg Bedard of the Boston Globe believes both Brandon Lloyd and Wes Welker likely won’t be back with the Patriots next season. And I agree with him. It’s been obvious for a while now that Wes Welker is likely done in New England. If they place the franchise tag on him for a second straight season, it will cost them $11.4 million for the 2013 season. They can’t afford him to eat up that much cap space and they’re not going to give him the long-term extension he’s looking for. Brandon Lloyd was brought in to stretch the field for the Patriots in 2012 and he didn’t do that. He’s due a total of $4.9 million in 2013, which might be better spent on a better all around wide receiver like Greg Jennings or Mike Wallace. The New England Patriots Decisions Regarding Welker, Talib, and Vollmer in Upcoming Draft
With this week being the first week without football, I know I am saddened as well as others if you have true passion for the sport. The bright side to this is that in about 2 months there will be the draft. While the Cleveland Browns have decided most likely to not move forward with the decision to pick up Ryan Mallet, the back up quarterback for the New England Patriots, the Patriots...

Does Rob Gronkowski Need An Intervention?
Single dudes in their twenties, especially those with seven-figure salaries, usually like to party. I don't blame them. As a fan, I accept that. This silly notion that those who play for our favorite teams can't have social lives infuriates me. So long as he isn't breaking laws or risking his life or career, what a player does in the offseason or even on Friday nights...
Has Danny Woodhead played his last game as a Patriot?
Much has been made in this young NFL offseason about some of the Patriot's key free agents who are set to hit the market. Wes Welker, Aqib Talib, and Sebastian Vollmer have been the main players in the discussions about usage of the franchise tag and determining who should be brought back, for how long, and for how much.
But not much has been said about fan favorite Danny Woodhead...

Willie McGinest Thinks Someone Needs To Talk To Gronkowski
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has caught some flak in the past week or so, because of video that has surfaced of Gronk partying and wrestling in Vegas with a broken forearm.
No Gronk didn’t break any crimes, and it is the offseason, so he should be able to enjoy himself. There are some who feel that Gronkowski is walking a tightrope and at some point his behavior and antics...
Willie McGinest thinks Gronkowski needs a Talkin’ to
Last week we brought you one of many stories involving Rob Gronkowski and his late-night-drunken-dancing-partying antics. Although he’s never been arrested, nor charged with anything, some people still want to put his social life under a microscope and question if he is the guy for the oft-calm New England Patriots.
Former Pats DE Willie McGinest thinks the Patriots need to have...

McGinest says Brady needs to talk to Gronk
Longtime Patriot's defensive star Willie McGinest is the latest to chime in on the Gronk criticism for his post-Super Bowl performance in New Orleans. Speaking in reference to the latest episode, McGinest suggested that one of Gronk's peers needs to step in as a leader and talk to him:
“If there were things that needed to be addressed when I was there, I’d have a conversation...
Report: Ryan Mallett Not Expected to Be Targeted by Browns in Trade
It appears that Ryan Mallett is going nowhere — for now.
The Patriots’ third-year quarterback has been a rumored trade chip ever since he was drafted in the third round out of Arkansas in April 2011. When Mike Lombardi was hired by the Cleveland Browns, the AFC North squad became a likely landing spot for Mallett.
The Browns are not expected to trade for Mallett, though, according...
Rob Grokowski’s Health, Finding Secondary Help Key to Patriots’ Offseason Plan (Gallery)
The Patriots have officially turned the page on the 2012 season, and now it’s time to look toward the future. But that future begins now.
NFL free agency won’t begin for another month (March 12), but that doesn’t mean Bill Belichick isn’t already entrenched into his studies to reload for his next Super Bowl run.
The Patriots finished as one of the final four in 2012, a few...
