Which sucks. I may be wrong, but I think the New York Giants have made an absolute steal with this signing. Cullen Jenkins was definitely a Free Agent I would have loved the Patriots to sign:
He's 32, so he's still got a bit left in the tank (he only got cut by the Philadelphia Eagles because he no longer fitted their scheme).
He's a Defensive Tackle who is certainly able to rush the passer, which certainly would have made him and Vince Wilfork, a prominent run stopper, quite the combination.
And at that money, he wouldn't have taken a huge hit on our cap for a guy who can have an immediate impact on the team.
The rich have gotten richer. Aren't Jason Pierre-Paul and Justin...

According to NFL.com, Jenkins signed a three-year deal with the New York Giants for 8 million, with 3 million guaranteed.
Jenkins, 32, was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 25 and had garnered some interest around the NFL.

The New York Giants signed defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins to a three-year, $8 million deal, Kim Jones of NFL Network reported Sunday. Jenkins joins the Giants after spending the past two seasons with the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles.
In 32 games (all starts), the 6-2, 205-pound defensive lineman registered 66 tackles with 9.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
