Patriots name a new team captain: Sir Elton John

He won't be replacing Tom Brady as the actual captain of the New England Patriots, but Elton John will be the team's honorary captain when the Patriots play the Bucs in Tampa Bay in the regular season. I'm not sure. I think it means that Elton John will be calling all of the offensive plays for the Patriots in the first half. I think he also has to serenade Tom Brady with a special rendition of "Tiny Dancer" just before kickoff. Hold him closer, Elton.
