Gary Guyton: B+
A coveted undrafted free agent, Guyton proved to be worth it. Although he struggled a bit in coverage, his physical skills are incredible.

Jerod Mayo: A+
When Belichick drafts a linebacker this high, he has a lot of expectations. Mayo lived up to every one of them, winning the DROY.

Tedy Bruschi: ...

  • It looks like there are some real good linebackers in this draft. Mayo turned out to be a great pick last year. Vrabel is thirty four this year and Bruschi has seen better days. It's too bad that Shaun Crable got placed on IR because he would have received some playing time with all the injuries.
  • I think the Pats will pursue Larry English and Brian Cushing to help bring the linebacking corps back to its once glorious days, Mayo is looking every bit the role McGinest played out, and English looks to be a Bruschi, and Cushing is just a stud Vrabel, I don't care really, because my Eagles be soaring!!
