New England was treated to a great game today! Finally the offense explodes, something Patriots fans have waited weeks and months for to happen. But the Patriots are scoring where they need it most, in the second half of games.
Take into account last week against Miami and again tonight against Pittsburgh. New England was behind 17-3 going into the locker room before erupting for 24 points. In the Steelers game, the Patriots once again exploded in the second half scoring 28 points in the fourth quarter alone.
Doing the math, (hopefully correctly I might add) the Patriots have scored 109 of their 234 points in the second half which is a percentage of 46.58%.
Why is this so important? Because when it comes down to it and your offense needs points, Tom Brady and the Patriots offense has shown they can be trusted more times than not. If it wasn't for a few comeback drives from the offense and Tom Brady, the Patriots would have lost against Buffalo, New Orleans, and Miami. Making ...

Tom Brady is a legend folks, he shook off the inconsistency of his first eight games, threw for season-highs of 432 yards and four touchdowns and led New England to a 55-31 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. “You throw it, they catch it, they run with it,” he said. “It makes a good day […]
FOXBORO, Ma—4 touchdowns and 432 yards later the talks of Tom Brady being “hurt” and “getting old” have quieted down. This coming against the Steelers secondary that is usually stout giving up the 4th least amount of passing yards on average this year. Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola, and Aaron Dobson combined for 4 touchdown receptions […]
On Sunday, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had one of the best games of his career. After throwing an 81-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Dobson, Brady was all smiles and made this hilarious face when he gave Legarrette Blount a high-five. I’m guessing he was extra excited that he wasn’t ignored this time by his teammate when he went up for a high-five. The Patriots...
So that Tom Brady guy who throws the football for the New England Patriots is pretty good.
After a Devin McCourty interception on a terribly underthrown pass from Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Brady found a wide open Danny Amendola streaking up the middle of the field for a 34-yard touchdown pass to open the scoring Sunday.
With the catch, Amendola became the 50th different...

While there was uncertainty at the beginning of the 2013 season as to what type of team the Pittsburgh Steelers would field, predicting a 2-5 record after seven games seemed to be as unlikely as the Steelers going 19-0 and winning their seventh Super Bowl title.
What seemed improbable during the offseason is now a bitter realty as the Steelers travel to Foxborough...
Troy Polamalu is one of the best safeties in the NFL and makes more game-changing plays than most defensive backs. He’s exciting, instinctive, and a hard hitter. Remember this play he made against Jake Locker earlier in the season? That was beautiful. But, as we’ve shown in the past, he can get lost in pass […]
Patriots vs. Steelers Preview--cover32: Here’s my preview over at cover32:
Predicting the Patriots matchup vs. the Steelers
Who would have thought that the Pittsburgh Steelers would enter Week 9 with a rather pitiful 2-5 record?
Should we be all that surprised? I think that it’s pretty evident that the Steelers are in the process of rebuilding both sides of the football and...
FOXBORO, Mass. – Tom Brady was wise to go to Rob Gronkowski early and often.
And that’s not just for the obvious reason: that Gronkowski finally appears to be fully healthy. In proving that the tight end was a force to be reckoned with, that opened up the rest of the field for the Patriots’ other receivers.
Gronk’s dominant start — he had seven receptions for 119 yards...
Here is the initial analysis of the Patriots victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 55 to 31.
This was a vintage Patriots win, for better and worse.
We'll start with the worse. The Patriots defense was inconsistent in the second half. When the Patriots couldn't get pressure without a blitz, the secondary suffered, as Ben and his receivers basically...
The New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and there are 57 reasons to watch this game. Who is in? Who is out? Find out, in your New England Patriots Week 9 injury report.
Tough news this week for star right tackle Sebastian Vollmer who broke his leg in last Sunday’s victory over the Miami Dolphins. Vollmer is done for the season.
Out again this week...
After going through some very-well documented struggles through the first half of the season, Tom Brady and the offense dropped 55 points on the hated Pittsburgh Steelers for a big win.
The numbers were staggering across the board. The Patriots rolled up 610 yards on the toothless Steeler defense, with Tom Brady going 23-33 for 432 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. Rob Gronkowski...
It has been an interesting season for the New England Patriots and tight end Rob Gronkowski. There was a ton of speculation in the media as to why he wasn't playing and what the problem was (if there was one). Of course the speculation was all pretty inflammatory but hey--if you are making crap up there is no sense in making it dull crap.
But now the man is back and in...
Ben Roethlisberger and the 2-5 Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Gillette Stadium to take on Tom Brady and the 6-2 New England Patriots at 4:25 p.m. ET...
Move over Tom Brady, David Ortiz is the king of Boston for the time being.
It’s quite fitting that “Started From The Bottom” was the song of choice, since the Red Sox were in dead last place just a season ago and now they’re on top.
You got to be happy for the city of Boston after what they’ve been through.
