According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New England Patriots  have re-signed free agent wide receiver Deion Branch to a one-year deal.

The 32 year-old Branch had a very good season in 2011 with 51 receptions for 702 yards and 5 touchdowns.  He clearly not what he once was, but he ‘s still a viable contributor in the Patriots passing game.
