Well fans just days after Rutgers University alum, Tiquan Underwood, was cut from the Patriots it seems his career is back on the map, with the Patriots that is.
Just today the Patriots re-signed 7 patriots players that were let go. Underwood was released from the team a mere 24 hours prior to the Super Bowl match up against the Giants on sunday.
The word on the street is that it it quite odd that Underwood was released by the team so close to the biggest game in history of sports. It appears the decision might indeed have been personal but there was no official statement made by the Patriots.
Underwood has now got his sights set on making a real contribution to the team for the 2012 season. The remaining 6 players that were signed are LB Markell Carter, WR Britt Davis, OL Matt Kopa, DE Aaron Lavarias, LB Mike Rivera and DB Ross Ventrone.
