More bad luck for Rob Gronkowski has Patriots fans worrying. Even doctors said it was just mere bad luck:
“It was just an unfortunate fall for him,” said Dr. Elizabeth Matzkin, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. “Was the bone 100 percent healed? Probably not 100 percent healed. Was it as strong as it was before he broke it the first time? Probably not. He got a little unlucky. I don’t think there’s anyone to point fingers at or blame. That’s the risk you take when you’re taking care of an athlete at that level.”
So, to help you worry even more, I am going to talk about where the Patriots offense will miss him the most. If you read the title, that area of the offense would be the red zone. Gronkowski is a freak of nature. He is 6'6'' 265 pounds and his lengthy arms and solid hands are what make him so dangerous in the red zone. In just 3 seasons, Gronk has scored 38 touchdowns, ridiculous numbers for a 23-year-old tight...

This is an interesting revelation...

In what has become a long-standing and hilarious tradition, Thomas Menino, the mayor of the great city of Boston, made yet another series of egregious yet amusing gaffes when trying to rattle off names of prominent athletes who play for Boston sports teams. On Wednesday, while discussing a wager he made with the mayor of Baltimore over the outcome of the AFC Championship Game between...

The Patriots officially placed tight end Rob Gronkowksi on injured reserve on Thursday. Gronkowski broke his arm in Sunday's win against the Texans.Fantasy Spin:This is just a formality. We already knew Gronkowski would miss the rest of the postseason. With Gronk sidelined, Aaron Hernandez will be New England's featured tight end Sunday in the AFC Championship.
How big of an impact will the loss of Rob Gronkowski have on the Patriots' Super Bowl chances?
Jason: The injury to Gronk seems like a non-issue at this point. He has played very little in the second half of the season, and the offense has kept on rolling. The only way his injury really hurts is if Hernandez gets injured by Pollard. No whammies.
Stephen: Against a...
The Patriots lost Rob Gronkowski when he rebroke his arm on this play Sunday
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been one of Tom Brady’s favorite targets since he came into the league three years ago. Gronkowski’s deadly combination of size and speed (along with having the best quarterback in the game throwing him passes) has turned him into the league’s best tight end (when...
Only minutes after Sunday’s big divisional win in Foxboro, Vince Wilfork was already looking ahead to the Patriots’ next opponent. With the Ravens on the horizon, Wilfork didn’t just see another challenge on the Patriots’ road to the Super Bowl, though, rather he said he saw a “complete team.”
“Everywhere you look, they have playmakers. They have a tight end, they have...
Everyone knows about the Sports Illustrated jinx. For those that don't know, here's a list.
Essentially, the premise is that whoever is on the cover of Sports Illustrated becomes jinxed. Some recent examples, the 49ers were on the cover before the NFC Championship game. They lost. The Patriots were on the cover twice before the Superbowl. They also lost. Rob Gronkowski...
