NFL Injury Report:
The New England Patriots may not reward Aqib Talib with a multi-year deal following his impressive inclusion into the Patriots defence, according to Comcast Sportsnet New England. According to a source:
Talib passed on the chance to do extra work at times this year and there are questions as to how he'd handle a long-term deal. The Pats, said the source, would prefer to sign Talib to a one-year, make-good contract.
However, Talib showed his ability during a productive seven-game run with the Patriots, but he only landed on coach Bill Belichick's defense after he played himself out of town with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Talib has had repeated run-ins with the law and off-field issues in four-plus seasons with the Bucs and was suspended four games in October for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Yet the measure of his impact was seen in the AFC Championship game versus the Baltimore Ravens, Talib did not feature during the second half and Joe Flacco picked apart an inexperienced and weak New England secondary.
Talib is 26 and if New England do release him, he will not be without admirers willing to take a chance on a very talented defender in his prime.

Unfortunately your browser does not support IFrames. It could be another long offseason for New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick when it comes to keeping tabs on Rob Gronkowski. The start of the 2013 NFL season may be a full seven months away, but it’s no secret that the Patriots like their players to keep a low profile regardless of what time of the year it is. As we...
According to CSNNE.com, the New England Patriots are hesitant in giving cornerback Aqib Talib a multi-year extension because of concerns over his work ethic.
A source with knowledge of the situation told Comcast SportsNet’s Mike Giardi that, while Aqib Talib displayed no behavioral problems during his time with the Patriots, the team has enough concerns over his work ethic to be...
The Patriots have a tough decision on their hands.
Trading for cornerback Aqib Talib paid immediate dividends for the New England secondary, but the team is hesitant to sign him long term, according to Comcast Sports Net. Talib is known for his off-the-field issues, and while he stayed out of trouble with the Patriots, there were reportedly concerns about his work ethic.
The Aqib Talib "sign or don't sign" game has been very hard to follow because both sides have been quiet or nonchalant about what they are feeling. Well sources told CSNNE that the Patriots are reluctant about whether or not to sign Talib to a long term deal. Why? Work ethic and potential behavior problems.
Here is the ideal situation for the New England Patriots front...
Well, this is becoming quite the image for Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski – so let’s just paint the normal picture. Gronk was at a Vegas nightclub Sunday night – Shirtless, drunk, and dancing, of course – when he converted the dance off to a mock wrestling routine and took his stage-buddy to the ground via body slam, landing right on his twice-broken arm.
He got up fine, and...
ESPN’s Mike Reiss writes that he’s “not sure it’s a slam dunk” that WR Brandon Lloyd will be back with the Patriots next season.
Although Lloyd caught 74 passes for 911 yards and four touchdowns this year, Reiss points to his 2013 salary as the main reason why New England could look to move on without him next season.
Lloyd has a $3 million bonus to go along with $1...
The 2012 season came to a shocking end for the New England Patriots with the loss in the AFC Championship game at home to the Baltimore Ravens. For Bill Belichick & Co. the bar is set astronomically high. Anything less than playing and winning the final game on the NFL calendar is deemed as a failure.
Much like after the loss in Super Bowl 46 the immediate future looks pretty...
During our Super Bowl Tailgate Party in New Orleans, former New England Patriots lineman, Matt Light, talks about how much he loves RV-ing with his family and taking fun adventures in his 42-foot Fleetwood Providence RV.
Dancing shirtless in a club after the Super Bowl has become New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski’s go to move. You may remember last year when Gronk, who was ailing from an injured ankle, received a lot of criticism when footage of him dancing around on stage appeared in the media after his Patriots lost to New York Giants and Gronk was lagging behind on the final Hail...
Forbes.com recently conducted a poll of the most liked and least liked players in the NFL. CSNNE.com reports that Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski apparently came in 6th in the voting. Not shocking though, especially considering his on-field dominance is capped by his off-field wildness. His work-hard-party-hard mentality has won over the hearts of fans around the league. Forbes'...

Rob Gronkowski is the darling of Bill Belichick’s eye, but if he continues to conduct himself in the manner that he is, Gronk may not get that special attention anymore.
Gronkowski does not follow the Patriot way and that irks some. His behavior in Vegas may earn him a silent fine. Four days after being photo partying shirtless in Baton Rouge, Gronkowski made his way to Vegas...
