I guess when you have money and you’re doing something you love to do, the most embarrassing of moments really don’t matter.
The photo above was taken by New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen on his Instagram profile, shows the Patriots running back core dressed to impress.
Running back Stevan Ridleyreportedly wanted the team to display some unity, so it looks like they got in touch with California Christiania Republic and then they had themselves owning a pair of some onesies. After that, he convinced his fellow running backs to put them on and take a picture.
“It’s just kind of a small joke to try and get some smiles on faces around the locker room,” Ridley said. “It’s a team thing. I tried to get my running backs coach (Ivan Fears) one but he wasn’t going for it. The running backs pulled together as a unit and like Bill (Belichick) says, it’s all about the team. I can’t be the only one, so I had to get the rest involved.”
The running backs included in the picture include Jeff Demps, James Devlin, Brandon Bolden, Ridley, Danny Woodhead and Vereen.

The Patriots may have found their permanent kick returner.
Starting cornerback Devin McCourty returned a kick for a 104-yard touchdown on Sunday against the Jets.
The impressive special teams play was the Patriots' first kick return for a touchdown since Brandon Tate brought one back for 103 yards against the Dolphins on Oct. 4, 2010.
McCourty has been the...
Stevan Ridley took Casual Friday to another level.
The Patriots running back strutted his stuff through the Patriots' locker room in none other than an adult onesie on Friday.
Ridley prefers to call the getup a "jumpsuit," but it's semantics, really. Nothing takes away from the fact that an adult onesie -- or "jumpsuit" -- is a very...

Patriots running back Stevan Ridley was seen ROCKIN’ his all in one “jumpsuit” after practice today at Gillette Stadium. Ridley is not only the team’s leading rusher but fashion trend setter as well.
Damn, this looks like a BAD Boy Band in pajamas.
Check out “Woody” he looks like he just rolled out of bed Christmas morning to open up his presents...
The New England Patriots will not have Pro Bowl left guard Logan Mankins for Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Listed as "questionable" with calf and hip injuries, the Patriots placed Mankins on their inactive list for Sunday's game, with Donald Thomas the most likely candidate to replace him in the starting lineup.
New England will also be without both...
Rob Ninkovich knocked the ball out of Mark Sanchez's hand in overtime and lifted the New England Patriots into sole possession of first place in the AFC East.
The undersized defensive end got around right tackle Austin Howard and hit Sanchez high while Jermaine Cunningham got him low for a sack, sealing a 29-26 overtime victory over the New York Jets on Sunday.
Jim Nantz had a "senior moment" in the booth in the waning moments of the Patriots win over the Jets.
CBS's lead play-by-play man was convinced that the Jets had beat the Patriots on Sunday night after Rob Ninkovich strip sacked Mark Sanchez to clinch the game for New England.
The usually flawless Nantz declared that it was a "stunner" and...
Gostkowski's 48-yard field goal in overtime on the Patriots' first possession was too much pressure for Mark Sanchez and the Jets as the Patriots' 29-26 win put them in first place in the AFC East. Rob Gronkowski's two touchdowns helped put the Jets away. Shonn Greene opened up the score giving the Jets the lead at 8:55 in the first quarter after rushing one yard...
Tough guys wear onesiesI've always heard that the way to tell a tough team is where they rank in rushing and where they rank in stopping the run. That's the tell tale sign of a physical team, that's tough to play. Over the past few years, the Patriots have not been particularly great in the rushing category. They've also usually been an average run defense. Not so far...
FOXBORO, Mass. -- Devin
McCourty nearly fumbled away a win on Sunday night, literally. But without
McCourty in the lineup, the Patriots would have never been in a position to win
McCourty had as eventful a
day as you could expect from nearly any player in the NFL on Sunday, both good
and bad. But in the end, it was the good that outweighed all else...
1. Contain Rob Gronkowski
- Gronkowski absolutely murdered the Jets last year, highlighted by his posting eight catches for 113 yards and two scores in their second meeting, a 37-16 Patriots blowout victory. If the Jets want to win, they’re going to have to find a way to contain Gronk. That probably means a heavy dose of LaRon Landry and Antonio Allen covering Gronkowski, if the...
CBS announcer Jim Nantz loves to script his endings, and in this case, it looks like the practice backfired on him.
Nantz completely butchered his call for the ending of the New England Patriots-New York Jets game on Sunday, saying not once, but twice that the Jets had won. The Jets, in fact, lost 29-26 in overtime when Mark Sanchez lost a fumble following a Patriots field goal...
Patriots return man's day goes from great to horrible.
