The general feeling is that the field goal operation was rushed, with even Bill Belichick saying after the game that the Ravens were, “a little late making the substitution,” and that, “they might have even lost track of the downs.”
Now, nobody had suggested or alluded to the scoreboard issue was done on purpose, until Ravens kicking consultant Randy Brown did so when speaking with a Philadelphia radio station. “I don’t think you can rule anything out in New England, can you?” he responded when asked i...

Measuring Cundiff’s Miss Historically
Baltimore Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff’s 32-yard missed field goal was the third-shortest in the final 30 seconds of the fourth-quarter or at any point in overtime of a postseason game in which the kick could tie the game, or give his team the lead, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. The two shorter kicks were [...]
Kansas Fans Use Billy Cundiff Taunt During Opponent’s Free Throws (Picture)
Poor Billy Cundiff. The guy already feels bad enough — especially for Ray Lewis — that he blew the Ravens’ shot at going to Super Bowl 46. Now, he has to hear it from fans in other arenas in an entirely separate sport. As we all know, college basketball fans are some of the most clever in the country when it comes to taunting. At times they take it too far...
Belichick calls Super Bowl distractions "overrated"
By Brian MacPhersonFOXBORO -- Eugene Robinson might disagree, but Bill Belichick doesn't put much stock in the idea that distractions can derail a Super Bowl team.
Super Bowl week brings with it an onslaught of parties, ticket requests and other demands on time with which players and coaches don't have to deal during a typical week of preparation. Rather than...

Patriots coach Bill Belichick breaks down the impact of OC Bill O’Brien on OC-to-be Josh McDaniels
Patriots coach Bill Belichick hasn’t said much about the roles of offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien and offensive coordinator-to-be Josh McDaniels. He merely offers that O’Brien is doing everything he can along with his Penn State job, and he’s pleased McDaniels is here.
Yesterday on a conference call, he said just a little more. Not a ton… but Belichick...

Terrell Suggs and Chris Kluwe rip ESPN’s Skip Bayless

The missed try came just two plays after QB Joe Flacco threaded a near impossible laser to the front corner of the end zone that...
