The New England Patriots have signed free agent safety Steve Gregory to a three-year contract, Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston reports. Financial terms were not disclosed. Signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Syracuse in 2006, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Gregory has 241 tackles, two sacks and four interceptions in 85 games over the last six seasons, starting 31 games at strong safety and playing in nickel and dime packages. Gregory is a natural free safety, which is where he'll likely play for the Patriots, who have ranked 30th and 31st in pass defense the last two seasons.

Robert Meachem to Chargers: Fantasy Impact
The Chargers needed a deep threat to replace Vincent Jackson and may have found themselves quite a bargain in the talented Robert Meachem.
Meachem will slide into the number two role in this offense and has a chance to supplant Malcolm Floyd as the effective number one option before the season is complete.
Meachem goes from a crowded receiving corps in New Orleans to one with a...
Tom Brady Groups Up
These are my west coast teammates T..
Tom Brady loves the West Coast. The New England Patriots QB has a permanent residence in California, and during the off-season spends a majority of his time here. Here’s Tommy Terrific at a Charity Event at Katsuya in downtown L.A. — It’s great to see Tom having a good time without his old ball and chain Gisele. -TO

Patriots Re-Sign OG/C Dan Connolly
Greg Bedard of the Boston Globe reports the Patriots have re-signed center/guard Dan Connolly, according to a league source. It's not immediately known whether or not this signals the end of Dan Koppen's nine-year run with the Patriots, but Connolly was looking for starting money after playing well in 13 games (11 starts) last season after Koppen went on injured reserve....
Report: Mike Tolbert Expected To Land With Steelers Or Panthers
Kevin Acee, San Diego Chargers beat writer for the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports tonight on Twitter that unrestricted free agent running back Mike Tolbert is expected to land with either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Carolina Panthers. Acee added that he was told that the Tolbert situation isn't like the Malcom Floyd one in 2011, who returned last year after his deal was dead...
Philip Rivers wants Peyton Manning in Denver
You can't fault Philip Rivers' competitive nature, even as the team around him looks like it's falling apart. The San Diego Chargers missed the playoffs last season and conceded the AFC West crown to the Tim Tebow led Denver Broncos. Now Rivers would love to see the Broncos bring Peyton Manning aboard. Not because he has a personal vendetta against the guy. It's because...
Patriots Re-Sign Connolly
Late Thursday afternoon it was learned that the New England Patriots have re-signed C/G/KR Dan Connolly.
Connolly filled in admirably at center for 13 games (11 starts) this season when C Dan Koppen was placed on the injured reserved. Connolly also has the longest kick off return in NFL history by an offensive lineman when he returned a kick off 71-yards against Green Bay on...

The Newest Patriot - Jonathan Fanene - DL (by PatriotsRazorDotCom)
Wow I sure do like the looks of this guy! Without Myron Pryor and Mike Wright last year the Pats lacked any real interior pass rush threat and it looks like Fanene will give them some of that presence back.
Reports: LaRon Landry Shows Up on Patriots' Radar
The Patriots might be ready to beef up their defensive backfield. New England has shown interest in safety LaRon Landry, according to Yahoo! Sports, and the 27-year-old might visit New England soon, according to the Boston Herald. Landry, the sixth overall pick in the 2007 draft, has been one of the league's best safeties when healthy. However, his last two seasons ended with...

Reports indicating that the Pats have expressed interest in Safety Laron Landry. Landry’s had injury issues recently which should help keep his price tag down. But when healthy he’s surely a player that could help New England, plus he played for Nick Saban at LSU, always a positive sign.
Seems clear the Pats are keeping a close eye on the free agent safeties, and given the safety...

Today in tweets from a pro athlete’s better half that didn’t need to be tweeted
Well, there you go. And if you think this will be last time you read anything today about the fact that Evelyn Lozada, the fiancée of New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, had Vicks on her hand before she touched Ochocinco’s — ahem — pee pee, you would be sadly mistaken. Because have no [...]
