It did not take long for Jabar Gaffney to catch on with a team after being released by the Washington Redskins earlier this week. Gaffney will reunite with both the New England Patriots and his on again/off again OC Josh McDaniels who also coached him in Denver.
Stability is the word that always comes to mind with Gaffney whose production has never waned. The Patriots have a very large bottleneck at the wideout position and players such as the non-productive Chad Ochocinco could possibly be on the bubble later as roster spots become premium. Report: Jabar Gaffney Signs With Patriots

An already robust receiving corps in New England just got deeper. Former Patriots receiver Jabar Gaffney has signed with the team, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN. The Redskins released Gaffney this spring after one year with the club. He racked up 68 catches for 947 yards while with Washington. Gaffney was a wide receiver for the Patriots from 2006 to 2008. He then signed with...

Report: Gaffney to sign with New England

Scratch Jabar Gaffney off your free agent lists. It was first reported by Josina Anderson, he will be signing with the Patriots- “Just got this text from WR Jabar Gaffney: “I’m going to the Patriots.” Gaffney told me he is planning on signing a deal soon.” There were many Browns fans who scoffed at signing the 31 year old veteran receiver. Aapparently you would make terrible...

Gaffney to Rejoin Pats

Tom Brady certainly enjoyed having Gaffney around in his three seasons with the Pats, even managing to target the wideout with future hall-of-famers Randy Moss and Wes Welker running routes. To say that the New England Patriots’ wide receiver core is stacked is an understatement.  Obviously answering the cries of their fans, which called for more wideouts to lessen the load put...

Maybe Wes Welker isn’t getting the message…

Wes Welker has been locked into contract negotiations with the New England Patriots virtually since the moment the Patriots walked off the field after their Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants but there has been very little progress. Instead Welker has had the pleasure of watching the Patriots receiving core get a whole lot deeper over the offseason. The latest signing is an ex...

Tom Brady - Randy Moss - Jabar Gaffney (by travisbarker12) The quality isn’t too great on this one but this has to be the single best play of the 2007 season, capped off by Jabar Gaffney’s TD catch.  Can you guess the one other awesome TD grab that Gaff had that season? I’ll be posting it later.

Sick Tat, Jabar

You uh, look good Jabar Gaffney. I guess it’s good to have you back in a Patriots uniform. Now that they’ve brought back you and Donte Stallworth, I can only assume that Headlights Caldwell and David Patten aren’t far behind. But you’re the big winner, Jabar, because you have an EXTREMELY large Bible verse tattooed all the way down your side. And, to top it off, you got the...
