Plenty of people expected a close game between the Ravens and Patriots, but they didn't expect it to unfold the way the first half unfolded on Sunday afternoon.
The Patriots lead 13-10 at the half because they are making things happen in the run game. BenJarvus Green-Ellis churned up 50 yards on eight carries and scored from seven yards out in the second quarter.
Tom Brady, meanwhile, has misfired on several passes and threw an interception to waste some good field position in the first quarter. The Pats seemed to get their passing game in gear late in the half, but Brady threw three straight incompletions to force a field goal attempt. There was solid pass rush by the Ravens on those plays, much of which came at the expense of rookie right tackle Nate Solder.
