The Patriots won 38-20  (Yong Kim/Staff Photographer) According to a report from Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, the New England Patriots have a slew of dual-team practices planned.  They will have practices on August 6 and 7 with the Philadelphia Eagles, before the two teams’ square off to open up preseason play on August 9. In addition, the team plans to hold additional joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the teams’ battle on the gridiron August 16. Those will be held in the friendly confines of Foxborough. Head coach Bill Belichick likes these joint practices and has “cited joint practices as a positive experience for the team, in part because it raises the level of competitiveness” according to the report.
