The Rap Sheet:
We’ve heard from just about every party involved in the sideline spat between Patriots QB Tom Brady and offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien. Most notable, Brady and O’Brien have spoken. By now, it’s kind of a dead subject.
Of course, we’re pretty much only talking about Tim Tebow today, anyway. But talking to reporters in Denver, Patriots WR Wes Welker weighed in and offered some final thoughts. He noted how he was right there when he happened. And after Welker weighed in, it crystallized my thoughts.
“I was right there next to him,” Welker said. “Really, it’s nothing that doesn’t happen all the time, so it was really not as big of a deal. Maybe it was a little more excessive than usual, and the cameras did notice. We’re a very highly competitive bunch. Sometimes you have to get your feelings out there and let it be known. Sometimes it’s a way to do things, but it’s not as big a deal as everyone made it out to be. … We’ve all been a part of things like that, even when I was in Mia

→ Tom Brady at 18th annual Patriots Children’s Holiday Party.
Looks like a pretty nice bruise still on Brady’s right elbow, eh?
The Patriots continued their charitable ways on Tuesday night, as part of their "Celebrate Volunteerism" initiative, as two of the team's best players took part in what's become an annual tradition. Tom Brady and Wes Welker were on hand for the Patriots' 18th annual Children's Holiday Party in Foxboro on Tuesday night where they spoke to children in addition...
2006 Flashback: Broncos 17, Patriots 7: After Tom Brady’s first career playoff loss in January...
Not everyone is playing along with this week-long Tebow-Mania. With more reporters on hand at Gillette Stadium than usual, Tom Brady didn’t provide too many scintillating quotes about Tim Tebow and his 7-1 record this season.
Turns out that Brady hasn’t been glued to SportsCenter for the next breathless report on the unconventionally successful quarterback. Instead, Brady has...
New England players spent their day off by spreading a little holiday cheer, getting wrapped up with their teammates as a part of an annual tradition with the Kraft Foundation. Julian Edelman said that the worst part of being wrapped with Tom Brady is the quarterback's odor.
Zoltan Mesko said how he loved this tradition, but then told a lie so egregious that it may not be forgiven...
‘Patriots owner Robert Kraft hosted his 18th Children’s Holiday party at Gillette Stadium tonight. He brought along 15 of his players, including Tom Brady and Wes Welker as the organization continues to celebrate volunteerism in honor of his late wife, Myra.
In between, he stopped and chatted briefly with reporters and hit on a number of hot topics. Here are the highlights:
Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan was still upset Monday with the personal foul call London Fletcher received for a hit on New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on Sunday.
Tom Brady is a pretty unflappable guy. After four Super Bowl appearances (three rings) and countless game-winning drives, Brady is used to pressure and doesn't get rattled or lose his cool much. That's why seeing him look upset in a photo taken during a recent practice was so surprising. Earlier this week, we asked readers to submit their own altered photos explaining why...
The legend of Tim Tebow could reach untold heights with a home win over Tom Brady’s New England Patriots.
In what could be described as a matchup between New England’s “Golden Boy” and Denver’s “Chosen One” (sorry LeBron, but Tebow is like the anti-LeBron in terms of clutch play), we will find out much about the AFC playoff picture.
With a win, New England can clinch...
New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick had no interest in explaining why quarterback Tom Brady and nose tackle Vince Wilfork were limited in Friday's practice, though there's apparently no reason to believe they won't play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
The Denver Broncos haven't been to the playoffs since 2006, so they're in no position and certainly no mood to judge the quality of the opponents they're dispatching with all this last-minute magic.
The seven teams they've beaten during their incredible two-month run since Tim Tebow took over and started engineering second-half comebacks, however, have a combined...
By Jim Donaldson Tim Tebow has led the Broncos to seven victories in his eight starts this season, including the last six in a row.
Tom Brady is 1-6 lifetime against the Broncos.
Yes, you read that right.
No, it is not a misprint.
Tom Terrific is Tom Not-So-Terrific against the Broncos.
He's 0-2 against them in Foxboro and 1-4 in Denver...
