Tom Brady doesn't have pleasant memories of the last time he saw the Kansas City Chiefs. It was the season opener in 2008, when a serious knee injury wiped out his year.

The New England Patriots defeated the New York Jets yesterday giving them a two game lead in the AFC East. The Patriots now 6-3 overall, have commanding control of the division and look to be on their way to another division crown. The Buffalo Bills, who defeated the Patriots earlier in the year, have slipped to 5-4 and seem to have come back down to Earth since their great start...
All this week, we’ve been taking a look at a few facets of the Patriots offense. In today’s Herald, we looked at how Patriots QB Tom Brady’s unit has improved in scramble situations. Earlier in the week, we looked into the no-huddle. Now, watch Brady talk about that and the injury to Chiefs QB Matt Cassel. Check out my video:
The Green Bay Packers’ 9-0 record is impressive but what’s even more impressive is that they have now won 15 straight games dating back to Week 16 of the 2010 season. Aaron Rodgers has been on a tear that looks far from over. His insatiable appetite to win has been the catalyst to what is undoubtedly the most proficient and sustained passing performance we have seen to date....
It's basically not fair.
Tom Brady, a guy who's already on pace for a 5,390-yard season, will finish his year with a string of friendly match-ups, beginning on Monday night (vs. KC). If Brady continues to produce at the current rate, he may actually break Dan Marino's single-season yardage record in his 15th game, then use the finale to pile on.
So he's having a...
The only thing that limits Brady’s upside this week is the possibility that he’ll be pulled in the third or fourth quarter as the team salts away a big lead. His floor is probably 300+ yards and 3 TDs, and there is a strong potential for more.

This game shapes up to be a blowout for the Pats, and the Chiefs give...
FOXBORO, Mass. -- So much for Matt Cassel's reunion. Monday would have served as an entertaining opportunity for Cassel to reunite with some of his former Patriots teammates when the Chiefs visit Gillette Stadium. And, in all likelihood, the New England crowd would have had the chance to thank Cassel for leading the Patriots to an 11-5 record when he replaced Tom Brady in 2008...
It will be a homecoming for several members of the Kansas City Chiefs. From GM Scott Pioli on down, there are a whole bunch of Chiefs who are looking forward to returning to New England for the Monday Night Game. Included among that list is defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.
The former Patriots defensive coordinator still has ties in the area, and he’ll have dinner with his daughter...
Bill Belichick and Tom Brady of the Patriots are winningest head coach-quarterback tandem of the Super Bowl era, moving past Don Shula and Dan Marino.
Pro Bowl voting is in full swing. The fans will vote until Dec. 19, and that’s one third of the process. Coaches and players will also have their say, but all that happens after the fans vote.
Last night, we got a little update on how all the Patriots and everyone else are doing toward making the event that goes off in Honolulu on Jan. 29. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is...
So now more than ever it is time to get real creative owners. The injuries to QBs such as Matt Schaub and Matt Cassell can very well destroy seasons for guys like Dwayne Bowe and Andre Johnson, once Johnson returns. Related posts:
