The New England Patriots' offense is rolling again as it heads into a game against a team whose defense it dominated twice last season.
Since then, of course, the Denver Broncos have made significant changes in the unit that allowed an average of 43 points and 480 yards in those two meetings.
But did they improve enough to control an attack that became just the second in NFL history with a 300-yard passer, and two runners and two receivers who gained at least 100 yards in the same game - last Sunday's 52-28 win over the Buffalo Bills?
''The more balanced that you can be, then the less (the defense) can say, `Well, we're just going to concentrate on this one thing,''' Patriots coach Bill Belichick said, ''because you've shown them too many other things that they have to defend.''
The Broncos (2-2) have a new coordinator, Jack Del Rio, and four new starters on defense - cornerback Tracy Porter, safety Mike Adams, tackle Justin Ba...

Broncos 37, Raiders 6 — you know what a victory means, fellas. Give out your BT Game Balls!
I have been hard on Eric Decker basically since he has been a rookie. Whether it was that he was a better punt/kick returner than receiver or that he was only good to catch every third pass that came his way. When I say pictures of him last off-season hanging out with Kyle...
Tom Brady was Tom Brady on Sunday. That's enough to be named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Brady's big performance against the Bills on Sunday netted him the honor for the 21st time, which ties Peyton Manning's mark for the most Player of the Week awards earned by a player since the accolade was instituted in 1984. Brady was in vintage form while dominating Buffalo...
A rivalry is about to be renewed in the NFL as Tom Brady faces Peyton Manning for the first time as the signal caller for the Denver Broncos. It's always difficult to make bold predictions when these two first ballot Hall of Fame quarterbacks meet, but let's take a look at three big, bad bold predictions for the Sunday afternoon match up at Gillette Stadium.Bold Prediction...
Peyton Manning has been known as a hard worker his entire NFL career, and Vince Wilfork understands how much work the four-time MVP puts in. Just like his own quarterback, Tom Brady. That's why Wilfork and the Patriots' defense are studying up as much as ever this week, as they prepare for Manning and the Broncos to visit Gillette Stadium on Sunday. "Once again it'...
Last week: 9 (+0)
See, Peyton Manning wasn’t done. He just needed to face the Raiders. After 3 less than stellar performances in his first 3 games against tough defenses (Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Houston), Manning exploded for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns on 30 of 38 passing against the Raiders’ lowly defense. He’s not the player he once was, but he’s still pretty good...

RB Stevan Ridley, New England PatriotsRidley was selected in the third round of the 2011 Draft by New England, and did not do much for the Patriots in 2011.On 87 attempts, Ridley had 441 yards and only one touchdown.Through four games in 2012, Ridley has almost matched his carries and yardage from a year ago, and has already surpassed his touchdown total. So far this season, Ridley...
FOXBORO, Mass. -- Brandon Spikes has developed a reputation as a big, physical linebacker as well as "heavy hitter" out on the football field. But when it comes to the hardwood, apparently there's finesse to his game. Spikes, who in two-plus seasons with the Patriots has become one of the better middle linebackers in the NFL, revealed on Thursday that basketball, not...
