Patriots wide receiver Torry Holt has been placed on injured reserve with what is being described as a knee injury, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. He had been held out of practice the past few days. An 11-year veteran, it’s possible that his career could be over. A sad turn of events for Holt, who was on the Patriots’ roster bubble. The owner of eight-straight 1,000 yard seasons between 2000 and 2007, he’s got a great case for the Hall of Fame.
