Pennington out for season

Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington is expected to miss the rest of the NFL season with a torn shoulder capsule. ESPN reported on Tuesday that he suffered the injury early in the third quarter of Monday's 23-13 loss to the San Diego Chargers when he was hit hard while throwing a pass. NFL analyst Chris Mortensen said Pennington will look for a second opinion on the injury but will likely not return this year. Pennington has already undergone two surgeries on the same shoulder and will now likely need a third.
