It was a decision that had to be made before too long, and Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin made his decision.
A slightly torn labrum in his hip that caused an alarm around Seahawks camp will be taken care of before too long as Harvin announced via Twitter that he will undergo surgery, likely missing the 2013-14 season.
when everything is goin good sometimes life throw u a curve ball… sorry to half to report that my injury will require surgery…

Seattle acquired the oft-injured wideout this offseason in exchange for multiple draft picks, hoping to bolster it’s offense. Now they have to wait for the explosive playmaker to rehab and get back to football shape.
Initial reports indicated that Harvin might need the season-ending surgery, but he gained a second opinion from specialist Brian Kelly, whom left the ultimate decision up to Harvin himself.
He added that he’ll be back better than ever, and thanked the Seahawks fans for their support.
