We have all been there before. Frustrated, beaten, bruised and battered in one way or another, because of that we have let our tempers react. Percy Harvin of the Minnesota Vikings is no different, it’s just that he’s an NFL player and was caught on camera. Many witnessed Harvin arguing with head coach Leslie Frazier in the second quarter after another red-zone drive resulted in only three points instead of a touchdown. “I just want to score points,” Harvin said Sunday, “It’s frustrating not scoring.” - Per Twincities.com After the game Harvin was asked what he was yelling about. ”I’m not going to talk about what the coach and I discussed. We had a conversation in the heat of the moment, trying to get things right.… Read more

  • Why shouldn't Percy be upset. I'd be upset too if I was the only receiving threat on the team...that is, assuming Ponder can actually read a defense accurately enough to throw a pass. Harvin is a great player who is wasting his career for a team and a coach who has no idea of how to win or what it takes to win in a passing league. This 'hand off to AP' and throw the bubble screen offensive menu is simplistic and predictable ala Brad Childress. We have no legitimate downfield threat and seem uninclined to try to obtain or develop one. Coddling Ponder while wasting Harvin's talent is a travesty.
  • Yes, I agree...the offensive playmaking is terrible, what about defense...if this were just an offense problem...teams would not be scoring in the high twenties and above. It starts at the top, not just with a 2 yr qb...not to say the qb situation shouldn't be looked at. Post game conversations are the same. Why can't changes be at least tried...may not be surprised, BUT could be surprised...or is it because of 'ego'.
  • If Percy is going to be upset, it should be about Ponder's lack of progress and his inability to get out of this slump. The Vikings had several positions to fill prior to he season and can't have ten 1st round draft picks! We knew we were going to have to wait at least 2 drafts. Last years draft was phenomenal and if the Vikes get another top 5 pick, they could get some real talent again. he more the Vikes lose now, the better the receiver they get next year and the 2013 draft will be stacked with WR's.
  • Brad Childress ruined the future of this team. Sidney Rice got hurt and left and Gerhart, God bless him, was a complete waste of an early draft pick. I only say that because we are hurting much more at other positions than RB to draft a back up to Peterson. Why did we give away T. Jack when Seattle was able to deal him for a draft pick? Poor management and Speilman, even though he made great draft decisions last year, needs to be held responsible for this long ride of mismanagement. Musgrave really seems ignorant at times also.
