There have been plenty of Percy Harvin trade rumors floating around, but when looking at the big picture, he’s not so bad. Sure, Harvin demands attention, but that’s nothing new to star receivers.
He’s yelled at the coach, like that hasn’t been done before. However, according to Jim Souhan of the startribune.com, Harvin doesn’t scratch the surface of bad behavior, and he should be jettisoned for a fleeting draft pick over a contract.
He’s a unique weapon that can line up anywhere, including the backfield and be a threat. Souhan writes:
‘This is the NFL, and what we know for sure about Harvin is that he never has been indicted on double murder charges, doesn't get fat before realizing he needs NFL paychecks to pay off past bar bills, never plays at half-speed and has yet to speak out against the possibility of a gay teammate.
