Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll likes to have fun with his players.
During team meetings new players are typically punk’d by the team. But on Wednesday, both Carroll and Terrell Owens flipped the script on everyone.
Longsnapper Clint Gresham even tweeted about it.
Our whole team just got punked soo bad by TO & coach Carroll. Wow that was the most akward moment ever and was so glad it was a joke! #punk

Prankster Pete Carroll has struck YET again. Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll played the role of prankster for the second time in as many years, that we know of anyways a few days prior to the teams first pre-season game vs. the Titans this week. Newly signed Terrell Owens was also in on the prank. Seahawks long snapper Clint Gresham tweeted

Pete Carroll is a jokester, and that hasn’t changed. The coach, with a child’s level of excitement 24-hours a day, got Terrell Owens in on his latest prank and pulled the wool over the Seahawks’ eyes. I have to admit that there is a method to his madness, this time being T.O.’s integration into a new group of folks. I would tell you more about the prank, but it may ruin...

During the Seahawks first meeting with Owens in attendance, Pete decided to call him up to the middle of the room to tell a story.
After a few minutes, Owens decided to go a rant about not being able to wear #81...

The Seattle Seahawks may have violated the NFL's collective bargaining agreement by allowing Terrell Owens to practice in shoulder pads during his first on-field practice. League spokesman Greg Aiello said in an email Thursday that the league is gathering facts about Owens' debut practice on Wednesday.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram first...
Raiders QB Carson Palmer has been something like a fairy godfather to Terrell Owens over the past three years.
It seems that when Owens is at his lowest most unemployable forks in the road, Palmer swoops in to save the day.

“Carroll said that he’s known Owens since his days in San Francisco. Carroll also said that in doing his research on Owens that he talked with his former quarterback at USC Carson Palmer about Owens, and received a good...
RENTON, Wash. — For this week and the preseason opener, Matt Flynn is the Seattle Seahawks’ starting quarterback.
Beyond Saturday night against Tennessee, coach Pete Carroll is keeping it a mystery.
“You’ll have to wait and see,” Carroll said. “Wait and see. Taking one week at a time.”
The decision to announce the quarterback plans for the preseason opener...
