Rookie Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has proven to Head Coach Pete Carroll that he doesn't need to manage games anymore. Carroll feels it's about time to open up the playbook and let his young signal caller fly. Wilson has a passer rating of 63.6, 2071 yards and 17 touchdowns against 8 interceptions, so he's shown he's ready for more duties. Carroll talked about how the offense has grown to the point the coaching staff feels thay can call any play with confidence according to Jerry Brewer of the Seattle Times. "We don't have any restrictions now," said Carroll, who admitted earlier this season to keeping a lid on the offense. "I think (Wilson) has proven that he is ready to go, and I have felt like this for about a month. I've felt like this for longer than today, and we've seen him just continue to do really good things. There's no reason not to count on him to continue to do that. I don't think he has some issue that is lurking out there. I think he can handle it. "The
