The Seattle Seahawks added wide receiver Percy Harvin to the 53-man roster on Monday. “Percy is officially activated, so that lets you know that he’ll be going after it this week and see how far we can take it,” said coach Pete Carroll, via the team’s website. “If everything works out well he’ll practice Wednesday and start the process.” To clear a roster spot for Harvin, rookie defensive lineman Michael Brooks was released. “He’s got to practice every day and show that all that’s he’s done in the rehab work has paid off and that he can sustain through each day,” Carroll said. “It’s really the next day that we always look at. He mixes in and how does he feel the next day. We’ll just see how that goes. “To us, it’s not a pressure decision. We’re going to try, again, to consider all the factors and make

  • GT is amazing lately. DB, ZM, JK, LW are playing extra-ordinary as well. Now, with the addition of PH, the Seahawks passing game could be unstoppable. Hopefully, all Seahawks wideouts will keep the 12th man exciting till the end of the season. Go Hawks!

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll expects wide receiver Percy Harvin to soon “really jump back into it.” The 25-year-old Harvin underwent the knife to fix a tear in his hip labrum on August 1 and was placed on the reserve/PUP list later that month. Acquired from the Minnesota Vikings in March, Harvin will likely rejoin game action when the New Orleans Saints visit Seattle...

‘It’s Go Time,’ According To Percy Harvin

The Seattle Seahawks just got a major team upgrade, and it looks like Percy Harvin announced he is cleared to play via his Twitter account. That is a scary team with Percy back at wide receiver, and by scary we mean even more scary than their 9-1 record shows. Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Percy Harvin Says ‘Its go time’ on Twitter, Could Return Sunday

It looks like the rich are about to get richer. Wilson, Lynch lead Seahawks in rout

Russell Wilson threw a pair of touchdown passes, Marshawn Lynch ran for 145 yards and the Seattle Seahawks routed the hapless Atlanta Falcons 33-10 Sunday in a one-sided rematch of last season's NFC divisional playoffs. After struggling for wins the last two weeks, the first-place Seahawks (9-1) blew out a team that once had Super Bowl hopes but is just two defeats away from...

Percy Harvin Practicing Wednesday

Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin (hip) will practice Wednesday, according to Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle.Fantasy Spin:Harvin is expected to play on a limited basis in Week 11 against the Vikings, his former team, after missing the first nine games due to hip surgery. Looming Loud - Seattle Seahawks Eye Home-Field Advantage

While watching the Seattle Seahawks dismantle the Atlanta Falcons this past Sunday, I slipped into a daydream.     It’s a frigid night in Seattle, and the Seahawks are in the midst of a bitter struggle with the New Orleans Saints. With time winding down in the fourth quarter, the Hawks are down six, but they’ve got the ball. After a back and forth game against...

ICYMI Seahawks vs. Falcons – Revenge in Atlanta

Some Things to Love and Hate Though the Falcons may be having quite the off year in 2013, you could still feel the excitement of the Seattle Seahawks as they prepared for a return trip to Atlanta in the hopes of getting back at the team that eliminated them from last year’s playoffs in heartbreaking fashion. Yet there was also concern; concern that the dreaded early start on the...

Seahawks, Falcons moving steadily down opposite paths

ATLANTA Heading into Sunday's game, the Seahawks had successfully been living on the edge for a good chunk of the season. So, why would Seattle abandon that go-for-broke mentality in a game that was already firmly in hand? With eight ticks left on the clock and his team holding a 16-3 lead right before halftime, head coach Pete Carroll could have easily instructed kicker Steven...

Seattle puts it all together in rout of Atlanta

Questioned after two lackluster performances, the Seattle Seahawks gave a resounding argument why they are the best team in the NFC at 9-1. Their 33-10 rout of Atlanta on Sunday featured a dynamic offense led by Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch and an improved defensive effort after two weeks of struggling to stop the run. And Seattle put together its most complete game of the...

Seahawks MMQB: Angry birds

Seahawks win battle of the birds 33-10 Many things impressed me about the game on Sunday, however one thing stood out above all others in my book.  In the Seahawks‘ first two drives of the second half they were able to take  an impressive 14:25 off the clock. That’s right, nearly an entire quarter of the second half was eaten up by the first two Seahawks’ possessions. Talk...
