The Cleveland Browns have found their Running Back and so have several Waiver Wire savvy fantasy football owners. In his second week as a starring back, Hillis has turned another 20 plus carries into more than 100 yards and a touchdown. Not as big of a game as he had in week 3 against the Ravens, but a solid outing that makes a statement.
After his blowup last week we threw out a warning to look for him in this week’s Waiver Wire Watching. The owners that were able to grab him could have a solid RB2 for weeks to come. While some of the backs that are being plucked from the wire will lose their jobs as soon as starters are healthy, the Browns don’t have much reason to make a change. Jerome Harrison is healthy now and that didn’t earn him a carry this week. Hillis is in now based on production. This should make owners feel comfortable starting him now or throwing him out for a trade if he was added to a solid fantasy backfield.
