Getty Images According to the Associated Press, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has called the victims from the Colorado movie theater shooting to help cheer them up. “Denver Broncos quarterback Payton Manning is calling hospital victims of the Colorado theater shooting to lift their spirits,” reported the AP. “A spokeswoman for the Medical Center of Aurora says that Manning spoke one-on-one by phone on Saturday afternoon with several patients brought there after the shooting,” wrote the AP. With Manning now a part of the Denver-area, he’s clearly doing whatever he can to help the victims of this horrific tragedy.

  • What a wonderful careing gesture on Peytons part, shows what every senator and congressman in this state should have done.
But what do they care, they will never pass any kind of gun control measures, don't get votes for helping people, just for screwing them.
  • First of all, I dont see how a call from a congressman would make anyone feel better. They have a total absence of empathy and only care about their salaries. Second of all, if you want to sign off on your rights to arms, you might as well sign off on all your other rights!! Get a clue on life....
