Outside the Boxscore:
There is no NFL quarterback that has more commercial appeal than Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.
Recently, he did a brand-new commercial for Buick and below is the spoils from the 30-second spot which shows Peyton calling audibles in his car:

Peyton Manning can move out of Mike Shanahan‘s Cherry Hills Village home now. The veteran quarterback recently purchased his own home in the neighborhood.
Manning closed the deal on the 16,000 square foot home for $4,575,000, according to CBS4 in Denver. The home was originally listed for $5.25 million early last year.

According to TMZ.com, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has landed a mansion in a Denver suburb for $4,575,000. It’s a 16,000 square foot home Cherry Hills Village which is a very high-end place to live.

Introducing the new 2013 Buick Verano, and it's new spokesperson, Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning. It won't go at break neck speed, and that's just how Peyton likes it. Perfect for those Pharmacy runs or to make that early bird special.
Ok, seriously, Manning is back to his obsession with hocking as many things on TV as humanly possible. We suspect he'll be seen...
Before he signed with the Broncos, the Tennessee Titans were the other major suitor for Peyton Manning. The Titans were able to offer Manning the opportunity to return to the state where he played his college ball, a lifetime contract, and a substantial salary. Up until now, however, it had not been known how substantial that salary was.
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the...

One of the reasons I follow the NFL so much more closely than college football is the simple truth that money talks, and in the NFL, no one is hiding from that simple truth. Apparently, however, money talks at a different volume for different people.
According to Chris Mortensen, Titans owner Bud Adams was willing to pay Peyton Manning up to $25 million per year to come to Tennessee...
Tim Tebow and Denver Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas enjoyed a big win Wedenesday night at the ESPY Awards. They won the award for Best Moment for their 80-yard touchdown to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime in the AFC Wild-Card Game.
Both Tebow and Thomas took the stage but Thomas left the speaking all to Tebow. The New York Jets backup quarterback delivered a message...
Toward the latter part of last season, Tim Tebow helped Demaryius Thomas make a name for himself. Though Tebow is oft-criticized for his passing skills — or lackthereof — he’s able to uncork a pretty decent deep ball, and Thomas, a speedster, has an uncanny way of getting open downfield.
During their improbable playoff run, the two connected on several big plays, most notably...
Paying for ten games when all you get is eight.
Having your team's franchise player tossed aside in favor of a new guy.
Watching all your favorite players uncerimoniously cut late on a Friday afternoon.
Watching your team bed down with the Indy Star to the detriment of other media sources.
Maybe fans are just sick of it.
In light of the Colts disasterously stupid decision...
Colts home games could be blacked out on television in the Indianapolis area this season if the team doesn't sell all its tickets.
Chief Operating Officer Pete Ward tells The Indianapolis Star (http://indy.st/MkEQ8g ) the team has 2,000 season tickets still to be sold. If those don't sell, the team will try to sell tickets for individual games.
The NFL recently eased its...
The report comes from Chris Mortensen, making it dubious enough for me to hedge my bets in the headline, but the gist is that the Titans had an offer on the table to Peyton Manning for $25 million per year. Using Peter King Basic Mathology 101, we can deduce that that is more than the $19 million per year that he ultimately accepted from the Broncos to usurp Tim Tebow.
Expectations vary greatly across the league at the start of a new season. Optimism abounds, but what that means is wildly different for every team. For some, an 8-8 season would be a success. Other are just hoping to see solid development from their young core of players. For the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and New York Giants, expectations are much, much higher than that...
