ESPN’s John Clayton believes there’s a chance that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and wide receiver Reggie Wayne could both end up with the Washington Redskins this offseason.
With the lack of weapons that the Redskins currently possess, I could see them going after Wayne, since his contract is up and he’ll be a free agent once March 13th rolls around.
I would think if the Redskins can get Wayne on board with playing in Washington, it might help Manning sign their as well once he becomes a free agent.
To be honest, I haven’t bought into the idea of Peyton wanting to play with the Redskins because of their lack of weapons, but you just never know what will happen.
