The Peyton Manning comeback has begun, and all reports are saying he is looking just fine. After sitting out the 2011 season, Manning vowed he would be back and the Denver Broncos got a glimpse of what could be coming. Manning looked sharp throwing short to intermediate passes, and had good “zip” on the ball according to sources.

Manning felt good being out on the football field in a uniform for the first time in over a year. The most sought after free agent of 2012, Manning threw accurately and did what he does best, run the show.

Manning ran the offensive practice, which makes sense since the Broncos are going with Manning’s playbook. A scene from his old Indy days, he directed receivers and backs, instructed linemen, and overall was the on field General he’s been his whole career.

“It felt good to be out there” stated Manning, as he gave comments to the media. Champ Bailey adds in: “Man, it feels good to know he’s going to be on our side because what I saw today, he’s going to give us some good work.”

Manning feels that chemistry is built in the off-season, and the only way to achieve that is through hard work. “I’ve always believed that you develop your timing in the off-season, you can’t just go into September with no practice.”
