  If you look at the numbers so far this season, one would think that Peyton Manning is already back to full health. He is second in quarterback rating at 105.0, top 5 in touchdown passes with 14, and on pace to throw for a career high 4,281 passing yards. He also is on pace to only throw 11 interceptions, which would be his lowest total since 2006. However, Peyton is quick to keep things in perspective about his game. Per Peter King of Sports Illustrated: Manning was quoted as saying, “ Some things are harder than they used to be. The game is harder.” Manning also added, “The whole goal was try to get better every week, even if only a little bit better every week. And I knew all along the nerve would take a long time [to heal], and you couldn’t rush it. It’ll be a tad better in two weeks, then a tad better two weeks after that. On game day, I get a little juice and feel pretty good. All I’m saying is, I still have strength to recover and rehab to do.” It is scary to think that Manning isn’t even 100% fully healthy yet. I expect his play to continue to rise as he gets healthier. Check out other great articles at BlackSportsOnline. var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
