Former Giants great Phil Simms isn’t ready to give quarterback Eli Manning a pass for the Giants 0-5 start this season.
“You always have to give a lot of the blame to the quarterback, especially when you’re throwing interceptions at the numbers that he has,” said Phil Simms on this evening’s broadcast of “NFL Monday QB” on CBS Sports Network via Tom Rock of Newsday. “All quarterbacks know this situation.”
Simms says Eli may need to take a different approach.

Manning was looking very good this past Sunday before he fell apart in the fourth quarter.
It seems like to make that Eli doesn’t have the ability to carry his team without a strong running game.

The NFL’s breast cancer awareness month means a slew of pink accents to the game experience, including pink first down markers, pink penalty flags and pink elements on team uniforms. The pink penalty flags in particular make things difficult for noted intellectual Phil Simms. Because substituting one color for another means viewers have to think an extra thought to remember pink...
CBS offered us backstage footage of the studio team but the studio team didn’t know it. Watch as Shannon Sharpe and Phil Simms get caught chanting and primping, respectively. What do you think Shannon is reading?

Jim Nantz: If you’re just joining us, we’ve got a real barn-burner going on down here in Dallas, folks. The Cowboys have scored yet ANOTHER touchdown, and now trail Peyton Manning and the Broncos by a score of 38-33. Let’s see if they go for the two-point conversion here, and try to make it a one possession game.Phil Simms: I’d kick the extree point here, JEEM.Nantz: [Wishing...
How big of a problem is Eli Manning for the Giants right now? It didn't seem like it at first, but Eli is becoming a huge reason why the Giants are 0-5. The Giants can no longer pretend that their quarterback is not costing them games.
Now before everyone gets too angry, I know exactly how good Eli has been in the past and what he has meant to this team. I am talking...
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is having a nightmare of a season and now everyone is criticizing his lackluster play, even politicians. Manning recently endorsed and attended fundraiser last for incumbent Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer. Councilman Tim Occhipinti who is running for Mayor of Hoboken took the endorsement by the Giants quarterback and is using Eli’s struggles for...
Manning, disgusted by his team’s pathetic offensive output.
Yesterday, on WFAN radio, New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning stated that he was not to blame for the Giants morbid 0-5 start to the season. His comments are as follows:
“I don’t think I’m playing lousy. I think I’m seeing the defenses well. I think I’m throwing the ball accurately. So I feel like I’m in...

[via]Eli Manning threw another three interceptions on Sunday against the Eagles to give him 12 through five games. Oh, and it pushed the Giants to 0-5 on the season. Such a hothouse of failure is bound to produce new and exciting forms of Eli Face. These optimal conditions did not disappoint, as Eli unleashed the sour puss of a lifetime as time was ticking away.
Tom Coughlin has never been one to pull any punches and Eli Manning is well aware of that, after a 0-5 start I’m sure the Giants meeting rooms are not a pleasant place to be right now. “I honestly believe that he’s trying so hard to get us a win, he’s almost put too much on himself,” Coughlin said, via Gary Myers of the New York Daily News. “He keeps it all pretty much...
I am so confused, while Tom Coughlin wanted to blame people for the loss (Eli Manning). He might want to look in the mirror after yesterday’s performance against the Eagles. Coughlin and the New York Giants signed John Conner aka “The Terminator” a few weeks ago, but have still not found a way to get […]

Here are some detailed Fantasy Revelations off a select listing of Sunday games.
Perhaps next week (depending on baseball), we'll have more time to delve into three books of nuggets ... and mini-rants involving second-tier tailbacks who cannot stay healthy.
1. There's nothing new to proclaim about the Broncos and Cowboys ... even if it might have been the greatest outing...
Did you find it was easier to get up this morning? Notice how today
wasn’t quite as bad as other Mondays? Make it into work with a little
extra pep in your step? If so, relax. It is not the end of times
(Soon, though. Soon). No, it is simply the Monday after an Eagles win!
When all seems right with the world. It’s a glorious day, indeed. So,
without further ado, here’s this...
Everyone knows that the ‘Thursday Night Football’ game is a nice link between Monday and Sunday games, but produces cringe-worthy television. Chicago and New York are fortunate enough to get their mandatory mid-week game out of the way early.
Both teams head into their night tilt looking at was has gone wrong more than what has gone right. The Bears have lost two straight games...
